Just thought I would do a little personal post to share my excitement!!!! :D :D :D

So yesterday was an exciting day for me. Me and my best friend headed down to good old Thomas Cook and booked our Holiday!!! Yayyyyy!!!!

August 30th I will be jetting out of here on a plane to Zante! Can't wait! It will be the 3rd year in a row I have been to Zante, we absolutely love the place. I love getting away for the week and not having a care in the world, just having fun, sunbathing, drinking cocktails and partying with my best friend! :) Can't wait to start all my holiday shopping and get all my gorgeous new clothes and bits :)

Roll on the Sun, Sand Sea, and Tequila Sunrise ;) ☀ ☀ ☀

Style Crush: Lauren Conrad

Ever since I watched Laguna Beach when I was a teenager, I have loved Lauren Conrad. She is one of my favourite celebrities ever.

I followed her from Laguna through to The Hills which then became one of my all time favourite shows, and I've loved keeping up to date with what she's upto ever since.

Looking back at her Laguna Beach, and the Hills season 1 days, her style wasnt great. But as the years have gone on, her style has progressed and she had become one of my all time fashion icons. She has definitely found her own style as she has gotten older and she wears things that flatter her figure and suit her shape rather than following the latest trend.

I love that her style isn't too try hard and I love how girlie and feminine she dresses all the time, whether she is dressed up for a night out or an event, or whether she is just out and about around LA. Of a day she usually wears jeans, heels and a top, high waited skirts, maxi dresses...easy but always looking so stylish. Of a night she will usually wear a gorgeous dress and heels, or shorts and a nice blouse with some heels. I also love everything that she does to her hair. She has the most amazing hair and it always looks gorgeous. Her trademark curls/waves and clipping/plaiting her front bits of her hair back are something I have definitely taken on board with my style and always do myself. It looks really girlie and pretty. She has definitely been a big inspiration for me style-wise and with my approach to clothes, fashion and hair. She always has the nicest sunglasses and bags too!!

I also love her because she hasn't let fame go to her head. Ever since she first appeared in Laguna Beach she has stayed the same down to earth girl ever since. She had the chance to carry on with The Hills and stay directly in the spotlight for years to come but instead she chose to take a bit of a back seat and follow her actual dreams and ambitions she had, and began to write books and design clothes. But overall, I do love her style and I would give anything to be able to steal everything out of her wardrobe! A girl can dream...

This month's Glossybox is the 'Fashion Week Edition', claiming to have '5 fabulous essentials to keep you looking your fashionable best!'

This is the first box I have recieved in the original colour scheme and I like it, although I did prefer the hot pink Valentines edition box. I do love the dusty pink colour of the normal boxes though :)

I'm not going to lie, this month's box is a little disappointing. I got 2 things I loved and couldn't wait to try and 3 things I'm not so keen on. But that is the beauty of these boxes. Sometimes you are made up with everything you get, other times not so much!

So here's what I recieved...

Duwop Venom Gloss - I literally had this just that second and now I can't find it to mention the colour! Sorry! It's a gorgeous nude colour anyway. I tried this on my lips this afternoon and it looks gorgeous. It hasn't got much of a colour payoff but I don't no if that's just because mines such a pale colour anyway. Now I didn't read up on this, and due to my blondeness, the name Lip VENOM did not register haha. So when I put it on and my lips started to burn and tingle, I panicked. Then they really started to tingle, to the point where it was hurting haha, and I was really panicking! All I was thinking was is this normal, are my lips going to fall off!! But then I looked and it is actually a lip gloss that plumps your lips to make them bigger. I don't particularly think it made my lips go any bigger to be honest. Maybe if I left it on a little longer it might have started to work better though, I removed mine after 10 minutes of panic haha.
Dr Bronner Magic Liquid Soap - This was one of the two I saw and thought why would I want this? It's just soap. And I don't like the smell of it either. Not my cup of tea I'm afraid. Moving on...
Paul Mitchell Round Trip - Now I was excited for this because I thought it was a product that you put in your hair after you had styled it into curls or waves to keep the curls in all day or something like that. After reading up on what it is, it's actually for girls with naturally curly or wavy hair types. You put it into your hair while it's damp and it helps to prevent frizziness and helps to define curls and waves. My hair is naturally straight so I don't think I will get much use out of this product! My mum has curly hair though so I might see if she want's to try it.
BM Beauty Pure Mineral Eyeshadow - I got the colour Storm Cloud and it is beautiful! It's a gorgeous shimmery dark green colour and it applies really nicely! It has quite good colour payoff, but as it's a loose powder, it can be very messy! I also like the fact that this is cruelty free and suitable for both vegetarians and vegan :)
Como Shambhala Invigorate Body Lotion - I love trying out new lotions and potions so I was quite pleased to recieve this. Been very put off by the smell though. Some people will love the smell, it smells like lavender mixed with peppermint. But it's not to my taste.

What do you all think of this month's Glossybox? Was anyone else a bit disappointed with what the recieved like I was??

One last little thing...

HAPPY PANCAKE DAY!!! :) I've just had mine, I made 2 and crammed them with loads of nutella and strawberries. They were gorgeous, even if I do say so myself haha. I also learnt I am a brilliant pancake flipper!! Haha!

Today is the only day of the year you can eat as many pancakes as you want and not feel guilty about it, so remember girls...

My first ever OPI & NARS buys!!!

Its official girls! I have lost my OPI and NARS virginities!! Woooo!! Haha!

I treated myself to some bits the other day and when I came home from work today, I found a nice little ASOS parcel waiting for me with my goodies inside! :)

Fist off I bought two OPI nail varnishes from the Kardashian Kolours Kollection. I am a massive fan of the Kardashian's (slightly obsessed infact!), so I was very excited when they bought out a nail varnish range! I spent ages looking at the colours and trying to pick out two I loved, and I finally decided on one of Kylie's colours called 'Wear something Spar-Kylie', and one of Kim's colours called 'Kim-pletely in Love'. I absoloutley love the names of these varnishes, I think they are so cute!

Kim-pletely in Love is a gorgeous pale pink colour and when the light hits it, it has the most beautiful blue and pink iridescent shimmer to it! I didn't know the polish had this until it arrived and I saw it myself but it is gorgeous! It is a very sheer polish so if you want a good amount of coverage on your nails, around 3 coats of this would be needed, maybe 4. I have 3 coats on in the picture above. I think this colour would be gorgeous for summer with a tan, it's so girlie and pretty. I love it!

Wear something Spar-Kylie is also gorgeous. I am very happy with the two colours I chose! This polish is a deeper pink with lots of glitter in it! It's a lot more opaque than the other polish and I only put 2 coats on in the picture above which was plenty! I love glittery nail varnishes and this one is definitely the nicest one I have found so far.

For a first time OPI'er (yes I make my own words up...) I am very impressed with these polishes and I can definitely see what all the fuss is about with this brand! I can't wait to try out some more of their colours! :D

The second thing I bought was something I've seen referred to as the Holy Grail of Bronzers. I have never bought any NARS products before because if I've wanted to splash out on makeup, I've always headed for MAC over anything else. I am definitely a MAC girl. But after seeing endless amounts of reviews and youtube videos saying how amazing this bronzer was I had to try it for myself. Yes obviously it's the famous NARS Laguna Bronzer!

I'm sure everyone is bored of seeing millions and millions of reviews on this by now so I won't bore you, but I am so glad I bought this. The packaging is gorgeous and the actual product is amazing. I am definitely going to keep this little beauty safe and sound though, I am very clumsy and I do not want to smash it like I have done with my MAC stuff before today! Haha! I'm not going to waste this and use it everyday just to go to work and stuff, I think I will keep this especially for nights out when I want something a little extra special. :)

Do any of you girls have any recommendation's for some OPI colours to try?

Or any other NAR's products you think are worth me cheating on MAC with? ;)

Hello Lovelies!

So another weekend is over! Weekends are definitely one of those blink and you miss them things. It seem's like they are over in a second! Anyone else wish weeks where 2 days long and then we have a 5 day weekend instead? Somethings not right that we have to work hard for 5 days a week and only get 2 days to enjoy ourselves at the end of it haha.

I had a lovely weekend this weekend :) Friday was pretty boring in work but I had a girls night Friday night with Pizza, wine and lots of gossip! Had the music channels on and it was best of Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez and Nicole Scherzinger, so of course we watched that all night! Saturday I was slightly annoyed as I ordered some makeup off ASOS and paid for Saturday delivery and it never came! I ordered some Kardashian Kollection OPI nail varnishes and finally gave in and bought the NARS Laguna Bronzer! EEK!!! I am so excited to get this!!! I am also waiting for my makeup bag to arrive that I ordered off Glitzy Glam I can't wait for that to arrive! :)

I did recieve my Cath Kidston Bed covers I ordered though! I put them on my bed before and I love them! They are so pretty!!!

I do love it but I was nearly crying putting my bank details in. It was £45! Quite steep for a duvet set! Unless that's just me being cheap!! Haha!

I also went out on Saturday night with my best friend. I had a really good night! I wore this:

What's In My Bag??

I am the first to admit I am very nosey! Haha, I love looking at whats in my bag posts and seeing videos on youtube, they are one of my favourite posts/videos! So I thought I would do my own little version on here! :)

I carry around so much stuff with me, my bag always weighs a tonne!

My current bag is a black one with gold detailing I got off my mum and dad for my birthday in January. It's from River Island and I love it! I have different bags which I sometimes use but the majority of the time I use this one. I am looking forward to the summer time though as I got two gorgeous brown bags for christmas and I really want to use them but I think they will go a lot better with all my summer maxi's, dresses, clogs and wedges than my black shoe boots and black fur coat I have for the winter months!

My makeup I carry around with me is pretty basic! Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder, Benefit Hervana Blusher, MAC lipstick & Lipglass and a Ruby & Millie mini Powder Brush. I don't carry around too much makeup with me during the day, I take more makeup when I go out with friends of an evening but normal days this is all I carry around with me. The MAC lipgloss is out of one of the Christmas gifts I got. It's the colour Mellowarm Frost (I think!) and the lipglass if from the same giftset and is in the colour Join the Party. They are gorgeous browny colours and perfect for the daytime.

Please ignore all the dust on my iPod my camera picked up! Haha! My favourite album at the moment is Emeli Sande - Our Version of Events. It came out on Monday and I have listened to it so much already! Her voice is amazing and the songs are so beautiful. I highly recommend everyone to go and buy it! My favourite song at the moment is Starships by Nicki Minaj! I heard it yesterday and I am addicted to it! It's made me look forward to summer SO much!!!!

Handbag essentials! Soap & Glory Hand Food, Soap & Glory Hand Maid, Charles Worthington Dream Hair Hairspray and a Nivea Deodrant.

I love my purse so much! I bought it last year from New Look. I no you aren't supposed to buy yourself a purse but I couldn't resist! I love the dusty pink and gold together I think it looks so pretty! :) My umbrella was a christmas gift. Although it looks pretty, it's the worst umbrella ever! It doesn't stay up, turns inside out constantly and it's so flimsy!! It has caused me so much embarassment lately haha. It's so cute though so I don't want to part with it just yet! My work pass peeping out from behind the umbrella! And my Topshop sunglasses and Topshop sunglasses case.

I had to include a few different perfumes because I take a different one out with me every day. These are my current favourites for during the day! Alex by Alex Curran was a suprise favourite for me. I don't usually like celebrity fragrances but my auntie bought me this for Christmas and I was so suprised at how nice it is! I am not too keen on the packaging but it smells gorgeous! Also Estée Lauder Sensuous Nude, Marc Jacobs Oh, Lola!, Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb and Dior Addict 2.

I hope everyone is having a lovely week so far and everyone had an amazing Valentine's! I have just been working all this week, and I didn't have a valentine this year! :( So me and my friend had takeaway and a girlie night! Who needs a man on valentine's when you have your best friend :)

My Best Dressed: Grammy Awards 2012

Another day, another celebrity award show! I no I did a post just like this yesterday but the Grammy's happened, and I love looking at all the dresses so much so I had to do another post! From the long and elegant, to the short and revealing, from the simple to the outrageous, this years Grammy's saw it all when music's most talented females strutted onto that red carpet!

Nicki Minaj even took The Pope along with her for the ride, and Anne Vyalitsyna didn't quite seem to grasp the fact that wearing a glamourous swimming costume to the Grammy's was unacceptable! Also how did Sascha Gradiva get through customs with her outfit!

Anyway onto the women who did manage to get it right on that infamous carpet!

Adele in Georgio Armani - The Queen of the Grammy's! Her performance of Rolling in the Deep was amazing and she looks beautiful. I am loving her new blonde bombshell look, and this dress looks gorgeous on her. I think it would have swamped her without the belt but with it, it flatters her figure nicely and the sparkles give it that extra bit of glamour it needs for an award's show. I also love that she is comfortable with who she is and her weight and she doesn't feel like she needs to change for anyone too. :)

Carrie Underwood in Gomez-Gracia - I think this is probably my favourite dress of the whole night. I am not normally big on white dresses but this one caught my eye the second I saw it. It's so simple but so beautiful! White dresses can sometimes make you look bigger than you are but this one doesn't at all! The sparkles again are perfect for the Grammy awards. Gotta love a bit of glitz!! I love the contrasting black bag and her simple earrings are perfect with the dress.

Kate Beckinsale in Zuhair Murad - I absolutely adore this dress! Kate Beckinsale just seems to look stunning everytime I see her lately. She is always getting it right, I don't think I have seen a picture of her this year where she hasn't looked amazing! Her dress, her simple black shoes, her hair and makeup, she has just got everything SO right! Gorgeous!!

Kelly Osbourne in Tony Ward - I definitely think presenting E!'s Fashion Police has helped her when it comes to style. I have never been a fan of Kelly Osbourne but again, she looks lovely any time I see her lately! The dress looks gorgeous on her. You would think that the extra material around the waist area would make her look bigger but she looks so slim!! Not a massive fan of the hair though haha.

Rihanna in Georgio Armani - I saw a a clip of her on the red carpet when I was on my break in work today and I instantly hated her. Haha not really but how beautiful does she look!!!! I am sure she is the envy of every woman in the world today! I adore Rihanna anyway, I think she is just amazing but I love that she has gone for a plain black dress this time. The dress is revealing but I don't think she looks tacky, she pulls it off so well.

Taylor Swift in Zuhair Murad Couture - She looks stunning. Absoloutely stunning. The dress is beautiful, it is such a nice colour and really suits her skin tone. The detailing on the dress is amazing! I am glad she wore her hair up too so the attention wasn't taken away from all the detail on the dress. She looks like a little doll, perfect!!!

I have loved looking at all the gorgeous dresses, and having a good giggle at all the girl's who got it so wrong this year! This batch of red carpet dresses were much more fun to look at than the BAFTA's!

My Best Dressed: BAFTA Awards 2012

I have to be 100% honest here. I am SO unimpressed with the dresses at this years BAFTA's. I was so excited to see all the photos and lust over all the beautiful dresses and I hardly like any of them! Most of them are just awful. What is going on girls?!!

I did find a few of Celebland's ladies who I think sparkled on the red carpet though.

Melissa George in Victoria Beckham - I am not usually a fan of Wet Look dresses. I LOVE my wet look leggings, but dresses are normally a big no-no for me. However, this is an exception. I think she looks beautiful in the long vintage style gown! The train really adds a bit more glamour and I love her hair and red lip! And look at that figure!!!

Fearne Cotton in Moschino - This is not my style at all, I would never wear this dress myself, but Fearne Cotton is well known for having her own indiviual style and I think she pulls the dress of so well! I love that she is different and she isn't afraid to be herself and wear things she want's to wear instead of following trends and trying to be like everyone else. I love the colour and the neckline of this dress! Her hair and makeup look stunning too!!

Kristin Wiig (not sure who designed this) - I don't no who this is, I read she's from Bridesmaids but I havn't seen that film! I love this dress on her though. Simple and elegant. Stunning!! I like that she has kept her jewellery simple too, over the top jewellery would have looked far too much with this dress!

Michelle Williams in a custom made H&M! - I cannot believe this dress is H&M! Good on her for going high street on the red carpet! She looks lovely, her makeup is gorgeous and I love her quirky Book clutch. I think she should have not worn the necklace though, I don't think the dress needed it.

Obviously I have got to give a mention to the legend and true fashionista that is Miss Piggy in her custom made Louis Vuitton!! Haha!!

Right now I'm just relaxing and looking for some new music to put on my iPod. Music is one of my favourite things in the world. It can completely change your mood. If I am having a bad day I just put my music on while I am getting ready, skip to one of my favourite songs and it cheers me up immediately! There is always a song to suit any emotion you are feeling. Songs can hold so many memories. They can take you back to that one moment when you were lying on a beach soaking up the sun and not having a care in the world, that one crazy night with friends where u danced the night away, or that memory you will cherish forever with someone special. :)

I love all types of music. Pop, r&b, little bit of hip hop, indie, bit of rock. I love a bit of everything :) My iPod is like my little baby, it goes everywhere with me haha.

Collection 2000 Illuminating Touch Concealer

In shade 3 - 'Glow'

I saw this concealer in Boot's the other day and I thought I would give it a go. I am always trying out new concealers. I suffer from dark circles under my eyes from going to bed too late on a work night (naughty me!), so I am always looking for the perfect concealer to cover them up and leave me looking nice and bright eyed of a morning again, even if I don't feel it when I am rolling into work at 7am half asleep haha!

I have got to say, I think I have found my favourite concealer of all time with this little gem. I have seen on lots of blogs and youtube beauty video's that the Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer is one of the best around, so I tried that one out and I liked it. It didn't blow my mind or anything but it was a very good concealer. I went to repurchase it the other day and saw this one sitting next to it. On the tube it states that it lightens and brightens your under eye area. I was intrigued to see if it worked so I took a chance and bought this one instead and I could not be happier that I decided to get this one! It is amazing! It is a light diffusing concealer and it makes the dark circles under my eyes completely disappear, leaves me looking so awake of a morning, and covers up any redness or blemishes I have better than any other concealer I have tried! It lasts such a long time too. I have been using this all week, applying it at 6:30am when I am getting ready for work, and by the evening it's still there working away! I love it!!! Definitely one of my beauty must haves now ♥

Soap & Glory: 'The Greatest Scrub Of All' Review

Good Evening lovelies! I hope everyone has had a great weekend! :)

I hauled this product the other day after I had been to boots. I am a Soap & Glory addict, I am obsessed with their Body Butter, Shower Gel and Flake Away body exfoliator. They are essentials to me. So when I was out looking for a new exfoliator, I spotted this and obviously I had to try it! And I was definitely not let down.

First off, how adorable is the packaging!! Soap & Glory always have gorgeous packaging though, so that was only to be expected. This product is for all skin types, so it doesn't matter if you have an oily t-zone, a flaky forehead, a mixture of both, or completely normal skin, this should work for any skin type! Which saves you the trouble of trying to find the right one to suit you!

You apply a pea sized ammount onto your face while it is damp and simply rub it all in well. It tells you to do this for about 30 seconds but I do it between 30 seconds and a minute every few days. The product is gorgeous, it has a lovely pearl like effect to it and it smells amazing! This exfoliator isn't as harsh on your face as some exfoliators are. It contains smooth-boost spheres and they are very small. When you rub it around your face it just feels like it's got little bits of sand in it. It doesn't lather up a lot, it turns more creamy and just feels so nice on your face. Afterwards my skin feels so fresh and unbelievably clean. It feels like it tightens my skin so much and just leaves it feeling so soft and smooth. I get a really dry forehead when the weather is cold and windy, and since using this my dry skin has cleared dramtically! This doesn't state anywhere on it that it helps reduce spots and breakouts but I had a look on the ingredients and it says that it contains Salicylic Acid. This helps with spots and blemishes. I suffer with breakouts around my chin when mother nature decides to call, as I'm sure a lot of you girls out there do too. Normally I have quite a few spots now and I can honestly say I don't have any! I don't know if this is to do with the exfoliator or I've just been a very lucky girl this month but if any of you suffer from spots and want a good exfoliator to try, I would definitely recommend this one!

I can't rave about this exfoliator enough. It is honestly amazing, I adore it! Soap and Glory have done it again. Another of their products added to my list of Essentials!

Girls day shopping :)

Hey girls!

It's the weekend! :) My Saturday has been spent having a nice girlie day in town with my friend. We went wedding shoe shopping as she is getting married in November, exciting!!! We went for some lunch in Café Rouge, and then we had a look around at all the makeup and goodies in Debenhams and Boots! I just stood there for about 20 minutes drooling over the Urban Decay Naked palettes in Debenhams, I really want one!! After we treated ourselves to a few bits, we went to Pret A Manger for a hot chocolate, complete with whipped cream and overloaded with marshmallows! Heaven!!! I would have preferred the weather to be a bit nicer, especially as the umbrella I took was useless! Even though it looked pretty, it decided to turn itself inside out every 2 seconds and not keep me dry at all! Not embarassing at all... haha! I still had a lovely day though despite the weather! You can't beat a good shopping day with one of your girls! ♥

I bought:

L-R Ice Crush, Off the Record, Domestic Goddess, Cosmic Karma

4 nail varnishes from Topshop. I recently discovered their nail varnishes and I love them so much! The are such good quality and they are very opaque so 1 coat is plenty! (Although I still like to apply two coats!) They dry quickly and they last days before they start to chip! Very impressed with Topshop for these varnishes! I got the colours Domestic Goddess which is a gorgeous pink colour, my favourite out of the ones I bought! It's so pretty! Off the record which is a lovely chocolate brown colour. I've never really been one for brown nail varnishes but I saw this colour and fell in love! Cosmic Karma which is a fab sparkly blue. Those pictures do this colour NO justice. It's beautiful, especially when the light catches it! Lastly I got Ice Crush which is a clear varnish with silver reflective glitter in it. I'm not a huge fan of this varnish on it's own, but layered over other colours it looks amazing! I love a bit of glitz :)

Kate Moss 08 top, Sweetheart Tulips underneath

Rimmel Lipstick in number 215 'Sweetheart Tulips.' This is such a barbie pink lipstick, I fell in love the second I saw it! It feels so soft on your lips too! I also got the Kate Moss lipstick in number 08. I am a massive fan of this collection and this colour is perfect if you are looking for a nice pink colour thats not too bright and not too in your face to wear of a day time. I can see myself wearing this a lot!

Revlon Colourstay Palette in 'Coffee Bean.' It comes with a highlight colour, and then 3 shades of brown. The lighter shade is VERY sheer! You cant even see it when I swatched it on my hand! The two darker colours are beautiful though. The darker one is quite matte and the middle shade is a nice shimmery bronze. They are the complete opposite to the lighter shade and are opaque and very pigmented. You don't need much at all to get a lovely strong colour!

Rimmel Fix & Perfect Pro Pimer. I havn't tried this yet but I am looking forward to seeing if it is any good. :)

I am off out for some wine tonight with a friend so I am going to glam myself up with some of these products I think! :)

January Glossybox: The 'Valentine's Edition' ♥

After I went on a mad little spending spree in boots earlier, I came home to find even more goodies waiting for me. My Glossybox had arrived! YAY! The past few days have been like torture for me. Anytime I've seen anything about this month's box on blogs or anything I have been forcing myself not to look. I wanted to be suprised when my box arrived. And I wasn't let down. I LOVE my box this month, the 'Pretty In Pink:Valentine's Day Edition'. :)

Pretty In Pink is definitely the right way to describe this box. The hot pink theme of this box is amazing. I can't even explain how much I love it. The pink little heart sticker on the inside was so cute, I just thought it gave it such a nice little touch. I love the grey ribbon and the light pink crumpled paper inside too. All the colours just look so stunning together! Big well done to Glossybox this month on the packaging alone!

Inside the box I was greeted with some fab little bits to pamper myself with this month! I no boxes differ slightly, so in mine i got:

Eyeko Skinny Eyeliner in 'Dusty Pink.' - When I saw this eyeliner pencil, I was hoping and praying that it would be black. I have never ever worn any other eyeliner colour in my life. When I opened it up and saw that it was a very light pink, I just thought 'what am I supposed to do with this?!' But I am in love with it already. I lined my waterline with it and it completely brightened and opened up my eyes! Amazing! I also had a go at using it on the inside corner of my eyes and it works really well. And so far it seems to be living up to the statement it makes about being longlasting. :) I love the long silver end too, it looks really expensive and eye-catching!
Clarin's Extra Firming Day Cream - I am constantly on the lookout for new face moisturisers and products to try so I am so excited to try this! Clarin's is a brand I've always wanted to try but I have been wary about paying the prices incase they don't live up to expectations. It's a lot of money to spend on something if you find you don't like it! A full size of this is £46.50! So I am very happy I have gotten some to try this month! The sampler is a decent size too, you get 15ml, enough for a good few tries!! Can't wait to give this ago!
Clarin's Extra Firming Night Cream - I also got the matching night cream. It states to have an intensive night-time skin renewal complex and it's the same size as the day cream sampler. Really looking forward to trying this too!
FAB Gentle Body Moisturiser - I am always up for trying new moisturisers, so I was pleased I recieved this in my box! I got the Clarin's stuff for my face so I was happy I also got something for my body. It's fragrance free and for sensitive skin. It contains dimethicone to potect skin, shea butter to nourish and moisturise and colloidal oatmeal to soothe and heal rough and dry skin. It says to use after bathing, but I just used some of this on my arms before my shower and my arms feel really soft and lovely. :)
Murad Hybrid's Skin Perfecting Primer, Dewy Finish - I have never used a primer before so I was excited when I saw this! Another thing I am looking forward to trying out! Full size of this is £29 so I am expecting good results from this and expecting my foundation to stay in place all day. Fingers crossed it's worth the price!

I am very happy with everything I have recieved in my box this month. There isn't a single thing I can say I am disappointed with or I wish I hadn't got. The cute little glossybox sweet they included was a nice little suprise too! :) This is only my second box as I am a new Glossybox subscriber but I am so happy with my decision to subscribe to them after recieving my last two boxes.I definitely made the right decision!

I havn't tried most of the stuff I bought before so I am looking forward to trying some new things. I've been on the hunt for a good exfoliator for my face for a while and I love Soap & Glory, they are unable to get it wrong in my eyes! So I'm hoping there exfoliator works as well as their other products. The Rimmel foundation is one I've been looking forward to trying since I saw it advertised on TV. I get up at 6am every morning for work so anything that may help reduce looking tired is definitely something I am willing to try! The girl at the Benefit counter put some of the blusher on me and it was gorgeous so I can't wait to try it out properly! And I've heard amazing things about the mascara too! Excited to try that out :)

I will be doing a few reviews on some of these products soon :)

Style Crush: Rachel Bilson

I thought I would start a little series of posts every so often about who my style crushes are. I love clothes and seeing what all the celebrities are wearing and taking ideas from what they wear in my own style! I have a few favouites who's style I adore! So why not blog about them? :)

I used to be in love with The OC. It is one of my all time favourite programmes ever! I have all the box sets, and I've watched them so many times! Ever since I watched it I have loved Rachel Bilson. I just think she is so stunning, but not plastic pretty, really naturally pretty, and really down to earth. She sort of vanished off the radar for a while, apart from the odd film here and there, but I recently started watching Hart of Dixie. Oh my god I seriously love this programme! If you havn't watched it yet, I highly recommend it! Anyway it reignited my Bilson love again. Her style on the show is amazing, everything she wears is just gorgeous. But I have always loved her own personal style. During the day time she hardly ever does much to her hair, wears minimal makeup and dresses casual but so stylish! Night time she is always looks glamorous, but hardly ever too 'pretty' with her outfits, except on the odd occasion. I would say one of her statement pieces is definitely the Blazer. I have recently really gotten into blazers and she wears them so well! If she is wearing a pretty dress, she will always change it up with a cool blazer to make it that little bit less 'girlie-girl'. I just think she could wear a tatty old plastic bag and still pull it off. I would love to raid her wardrobe and steal some of it for myself! ;)

Are You Gonna Kiss & Tell??

I recently recieved the 'Kiss & Tell' Lipgloss Set from Ted Baker, and as I don't normally use brands like this in my makeup collection, I just cast the set aside. I found it yesterday when I was having a tidy up and after having a proper look, I realised the colours were actually lovely, so I decided to try it out.

Top-Bottom, Pink Glitter, Light Pink, Brown, Berry

I absolutely love the packaging of this set. The white, black and pink patterened box it comes in is gorgeous, and I love the name of the set! It's so girlie and cute! I also love the actual product packaging with the clear tube and the gold Ted Baker logo and butterflies. The lipglosses come in the kind of tube where the product is inside, and you twist the bottom of it to push the lipgloss up through the applicator brush. Once i applied one of these lipglosses my lips felt lovely and soft, but I found the longer I wore them, the stickier my lips got. The glosses are very tacky, and they also feel quite heavy and thick on your lips which I am not a big fan of. The colour payoff from these lipglosses is actually really good. The shades come out lovely on your lips and the glosses are quite opaque. My favourites are definitely Pink Glitter and Berry. They look gorgeous on and the colours are so pretty!

Overall these lipglosses are nice, but they havnt excited me all that much. The colours are really nice but I'm not a massive fan of how they feel on my lips. Not a product I will be rushing out to buy again unfortunatly! Although if you like your glosses thick, you would definitely love these!! :)

For me, my bedroom is somewhere I spend a lot of my time due to still living at home with my mum and dad. I entertain my friends & have girly nights in here, watch all my favourite programmes in here, have my own little pamper sessions in here, and all my favourite things are kept in here. And now, I also write my blog in here. :)

I used to love watching interior design programmes when I was younger such as changing rooms. Finding pretty items to decorate my little personal space with has always been fun for me. Just the smallest thing can make such a difference. The last time it was decorated was 2005, and as we are now in 2012, thats quite a long time! I love the colour scheme, baby pink & white, gorgeous and very girlie! But as I am hoping to be able to get my own place over the next few years, I didn't want to waste a lot of money completely redecorating. Instead, I have been hunting round for some cute girlie bits to add to my room. And I love some of the bits I found, so I thought I would just do a quick blog post and share some of my favourites with you girls. :)

Nip + Fab Spot Fix Review.

3 days ago I didn't have any spots. Woke up this morning, I have a spot. Great!! Luckily for me I received this anti-blemish gel in my Glossybox so I thought I would give it a go!

The product states to be 'a fast acting gel that targets blemishes' and that it 'helps to quickly reduce the appearance of problem prone skin.'
It says the gel contains Salicylic Acid which helps to deep clean your skin, Vital Et which targets the blemishes and Eucalyptus & Tea Tree which helps to purify and refresh your skin. Sounds promising, but does it work?

First of all i made sure i had cleaned all my makeup off, thoroughly washed my face and moisturised. I dabbed a small amount of the gel into the problem area and rubbed it in. The gel itself is clear and none sticky, rubs in really fast and easily! I used this gel about an hour ago now, and I can honestly say that the spot is still there, but the redness around the spot has vanished to almost nothing! It really does do what it says, the appearance of my problem area has reduced dramatically in a short amount of time. I am very impressed with this little gem! I might even be tempted to try a few of their other products in future too! :)

My Best Dressed: The Golden Globes 2012

I love award shows. Although not to see who wins the awards, no no no! For me, it's all about the dresses! I love nothing more than looking through all the red carpet photo's and video's and seeing what everyone is wearing. Seeing who got it right, and who got it so wrong!

The Golden Globes was held last night, and after scanning all the gossip sites to see what beautiful gowns all celeb lands hottest females chose to wear, I've picked out a few of my favourites.

Kate Beckinsale in Roberto Cavalli.

She looks absoloutely beautiful in this gorgeous pale pink embellished gown. I can't even describe how much I love it! I love the way she has styled her hair off her face to show off the stunning cut around the top of the dress, and I like the way the bottom of the dress flows out and is not as stuctured as the top. She looks absolutely flawless.

Jessica Alba in Gucci.

Until I saw Kate Beckinsale's dress, this was my favourite. I love the lavender colour, it really suits her skin tone. The embellishment all over is gorgeous and I love her little clutch! I like the way she hasn't gone too over the top with her jewellery too, so the attention isn't taken away from her dress. Just stunning!

Reese Witherspoon in Zac Posen.

I noticed lots of red on the red carpet this year and I can say that Reese Witherspoons gown outshone every other red dress there! It's so simple yet so elegant! The structuring around the waist is so flattering on her and I love that she's gone for a more simple approach with her hair and makeup. Top marks!

Salma Hayek in Gucci.

This dress is just unbelievable. It flatters her so well, she looks tiny! I love how different it was to everything else I saw on the red carpet too. I don't usually like when a dress has contrasting textures/patterns etc, but the embellished top and the pleated bottom works so well! I love how she has gone completely jewellery-less (is that even a word?!), other than those amazing big statement earrings and ring.

Sofia Vergara in Vera Wang.

You can't go wrong with a Vera Wang dress. It's such a pretty colour, I love blue's like this. The shape of the dress just hugs her in all the right places, and the bottom of the dress, oh my god. It's just stunning. This is what an awards show dress should look like. Vera Wang has done it again. Her hair is lovely too. Simple, straight and sleek, perfect for an over the top dress like this one.

Elle Macpherson in Zac Posen.

I absolutely adore this dress! I would actually love a dress like this if I ever get married haha. Her long wavy blonde hair looks perfect with this and the only thing I can find to fault about this look is the bangles. I think they are a little bit too 'boho' for this look, but bangles or no bangles, she looks beautiful, and definitely one of the night's best dressed for me.

Overall I think Kate Beckinsale wins it for me at this time around, but it's safe to say 2012's red carpet fashion has got off to an amazing start!

My First Glossybox! ♥

I had been looking at Glossybox for some time now and thinking what a brilliant idea it was, but for some reason, I just never subscribed. I took the plunge and signed up last week and this morning, I woke up to my gorgeous shiny box. :) I must have subscribed inbetween boxes, as I recieved the December Box. The Limited Edition 'Christmas Gift Guide - Part 2'. On the card it describes the box as being 'The 5 products you need to Sparkle, Shimmer & Shine!' so i was very excited to see what was inside! :) I absolutely love the packaging of this box. The red together with the black ribbon and the white tissue paper is just so eye catching and pretty!

I love everything I have recieved in this box. There are some amazing little products!

Blink + Go Eyeshadow and Blush Palette - This is amazing! The colours are so bright and really well pigmented. They have a gorgeous silk like finish to them. It also includes two lovely peachy pink blush's which I am already loving.

Cargo Cosmetics Classic Lipgloss in the shade 'Tokyo' - It states on the information card that this lipgloss provides high-shine without being sticky, and I couldn't agree more! It's a gorgeous pink shade and feels as if you are wearing lipbalm as opposed to lipgloss! Love this.
Deborah Lippmann Nail Varnish in 'Razzle Dazzle' - This is by far my favourite product I recieved in the box! It's amazing! The colour is so gorgeous, I can't wait to wear it!
Deborah Lippmann Stripped to Go Sachet - A little nail varnish removal mitt. Perfect for throwing in your bag or taking on holiday!
Nip + FAb Spot Fix - I havn't used this yet as at the moment I don't have any breakouts or blemishes, but every girl dreads the day she wakes up and see's a nasty red spot staring back at her. So the moment this happens, I will be slapping on this gel and hoping it does what it says on the tin, or in this case the tube! Fingers crossed!
Rituals Foaming Shower Gel in 'Hammam Delight' - I must admit, I am not overly keen on the smell of this shower gel. It reminds me of a medicine my mum takes. Haha. There's more scents in the range which hopefully smell a little nicer than this one though, and the gel itself is lovely and leaves your skin feeling lovely and soft.

After recieving this box I am so glad I signed up for Glossybox! I can't wait to see what next month's box has in store for me already! :)

I went out for drinks with friends and got a lot of compliments on this dress. And I can't believe it was only £25! Definitely my best buy in the January sales!

Wearing all black I decided I wanted to include a little bit of colour into my outfit :) So for my bag I went for this gorgeous pinky purple clutch from the Star by Julien MacDonald range in Debenhams. I don't think this is available anymore as I got it last summer.

Quick Kate Moss for Rimmel Lipstick Collection Review

I must admit, I have never been a lipstick fan. I've always been a lip gloss girl for as long as I can remember. I never thought the day would come where I would be getting ready for a night out or a meal with friends and I would reach for a lipstick over a lipgloss. But that day has come. I adore these lipsticks!!!

I have 3 of the colours from the collection. I am a bit dissapointed that these lipsticks don't have some pretty names to go with their shades. I have numbers 01 - a very deep red colour, 05 - a pretty pink, and 12 - a gorgeous orangy red.

The packaging of these lipsticks is gorgeous. Very stylish, a bit like Kate herself! I love the simple black with the red kate signature. Another bonus, the lids stay on very well. This may sound picky, but there's nothing worse than carrying around a product and the lid comes off and the product ends up coating everything in your bag!

The pigmentation of these lipsticks is brilliant. The colours come out really vivid and the lipsticks have a creamy consistency which leaves a gorgeous finish to your lips. The colour is also very longlasting and after trying a few other lipsticks from other brands, I find these outlast the lot. And at only £5.45 they are a bargain!! These are now a must in my makeup bag and I can't wait to try some of the other colours!

And don't forget girls, after applying lipstick, ALWAYS do a teeth check ;)

Small Shopping Haul ♥

I went shopping yesterday so for my first post I thought I would do a small haul of things I bought. :)

I actually went shopping for my birthday presents off my family as it's my birthday in 6 days! (eek!) So I only bought two beauty products.

Excuse the not so great photos, I don't have an amazing camera, and I am (clearly) not a professional photographer haha.

The first thing I bought is a Topshop Nail Varnish in the colour Heart of Gold.

I've never bought any topshop makeup or beauty products before and I have been searching for a nice gold nail varnish for a few weeks now. I initially wanted one for the Christmas period, but I decided against fighting my way through all the men who were frantically rushing around all the girlie shops trying to find the women in their lives the perfect present at the last minute. So I saw this one and thought I would try it. I must say I am pleasantly suprised by it! It was only £6.00 and the packaging is lovely! The actual polish itself is a very good consistency and although i always prefer to apply two coats of my nail varnish, one would have been plenty. It dries very quickly too, which is always good for someone as impatient as I am! And of course, its sparkly! Always a bonus! It's ideal for a girls night out, which is what I plan on wearing it for. Here's what it looks like on my nails:

The second thing I bought was something I had read a few reviews about online over the last week and really wanted to try. I am always tired and have dark circles under my eyes from being a night owl and never going to bed early enough! So I saw the 'Soap & Glory: You Won't Believe Your Eyes' online and decided to head to boots and pick one up.

It is a serum that you apply under your eyes to reduce dark circles, puffiness and reduce the signs of tiredness and it was about £10. You simply squeeze the tube until you see the serum seeping out around the silver rollerballs and apply the serum underneath your eyes. I have only tested this product once, and to be completely honest, I didn't see any difference to my eyes at all. The dark circles were still there, staring back at me. The various reviews I have read differ in time it takes to see a result. Some say it works instantly, others say you need to apply it for a few days before you see any change. So fingers crossed it starts to work better for me after a few days. Hopefully my eyes look bright and fresh in no time! :)
